Obituary of Jensen Levi Schneider

Jensen Levi Schneider was born in Sacramento, California in February 1984. He was the second son born to Scott & Glenda Schneider. Jensen attended and played football for Del Oro High School in Loomis, California. Jensen cared deeply for any and all people in his life. He was a sweet and compassionate man who loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! In his early years Jensen was raised in Folsom, California and moved to Newcastle, California when he was 11. From an early age he developed a love for the outdoors, animals, fishing, and especially farming. When Jensen was 17, he met Martha Faith Tieman. They fell in love and were married October 2nd, 2005. Jensen and Martha loved each other tremendously and shared a passion for farming, community and family. They started a business growing organic fruits and vegetables selling them at local farmers markets. Jensen was the youngest board member to serve on the Placer County Farmers Market committee. Jensen and Martha also attended Sierra College studying photography and horticulture. Jensen and Martha were inseparable until Martha’s passing in 2009. He truly loved his family. He loved his brother, Austin Schneider, and his sister, Desiree Schneider, and was a very loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed spending time with his Grandparents. As a teenager his Grandpa Glen gave him the nickname “JBO”, which stuck with him through the years. He was very fond of fishing and spending time with his Grandpa, Charles Paulhamus at Deer Creek in Elam, California. He dearly loved his Grammie Holly and many aunts, uncles and extended family. Jensen continued his love for the outdoors and enjoyed traveling to beautiful locations in California. He loved to spend time at the Northern California coast especially Point Arena. He also enjoyed spending time in Lake Tahoe. Jensen was a true rock hound and took joy in collecting rocks and shells. We are truly at a loss with Jensen’s passing, but as it says in 1 Thessalonians, “we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died, so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 We were truly blessed to have Jensen in our lives and look forward to seeing him again with our Lord in heaven.
