Obituary of Steven A. Ramirez

Husband to Michelle Ramirez and Father to Gabriella and Isaac Ramirez. Steven was Born November 10, 1970 to Manuel and Patsy Ramirez. He was the beloved brother to Patrick, Manuel, and Amelia Ramirez. Steven had eight nieces and nephews and comes from a wonderful big family of aunts, uncles and dozens of cousins. Steven also had an amazing mother, father and sister in-law, as well as their extended family, who loved him dearly. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1988 and was married to Michelle Valdez May 5, 1990. He became a Sheet Metal Journeyman and member of the Local Union 104, and worked 28 years in trade for one family-owned shop, who also loved Steven like family. Steven had a love for anything outdoors ... camping, fishing, hunting, and shooting. Steven was also a Scout Leader in the Boy Scouts where he and his son were members for many years. Steve was the quintessential handyman ... all self taught. He knew a little something about everything: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, mechanics, etc. and was always willing to help out a friend. On any given day you could find Steve singing and whistling and standing over a grill of steaks, relaxing in the jacuzzi, watching movies in his recliner, or tinkering in his garage. He loved history and anything to do with World War II. Steve was a jovial, loyal, and funny man who loved his friends and family immensely. He will be greatly missed by all.
