Obituary of Naomi W. Lenox

Naomi “Billie” Williams Lenox passed peacefully on April 4, 2020 in Rocklin, California at the age of 92. Billie was born in Newark, New Jersey on December 12, 1927 to Florence Arnold Williams. After graduating high school, she worked and modeled for a local department store before marrying Alan Bruce Lenox on April 29, 1950 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Many summers were spent building fond memories with her family at the Jersey Shore. After moving to Texas for Alan’s work, Billie volunteered at the school library then worked as a substitute teacher for over a decade. Following the passing of her husband, she moved to Walnut Creek, California and was active in both Grace Presbyterian Church and the Rossmoor Lions Club. She moved to Rocklin in order to stay close to family and kept busy with an assortment of activities and outings at her assisted living community. Billie enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, shopping, reading and anything that involved food. Her fondest memories were of good meals and time spent with family and friends. She was a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was adored for her kind, funny and spunky personality and was known for her classy style. Billie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Warren Brechtel; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Karen Lenox; four grandchildren, Kimberly Brechtel Moore (Bryce), Stefanie Brechtel Bican (Kenn), Brett Lenox and Randy Lenox; and three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Grady and Porter Moore.
