She was born on October 20, 1936 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, KY, the daughter of Mildred (Duvall) & Bernard Gamble.
Boots graduated from Lacy High School in 1955. She was a beloved sister to her two sisters, Patsy + Jenny and her two brothers Kenny (Beetle) & Paul Haydon. She moved to CA in he resided in the greater Sacramento Area & Pleasant Grove where she was a dedicated stay-at-home mom & invested in her daughters’ career showing quarter horses. She later settled in Roseville. Always a hard worker she joined the workforce and worked for the CA Chiropractic board where she retired but continued to work for FEMA, assisting the work forces during natural disasters. She spent many years devoted to her bowling league, countless golf trips with her golfing ladies, playing darts and loved her Friday night poker games. Some of her favorite things were the Sacramento Kings, spending time with Larry, her dearest friends and of course her puppies. She was the true matriarch of her family and loved her girls deeply. She was very proud of the honor bestowed upon her as a Kentucky Colonel and equally proud of her roots.
