She was born on October 20, 1936 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, KY, the daughter of Mildred (Duvall) & Bernard Gamble.
Boots graduated from Lacy High School in 1955. She was a beloved sister to her two sisters, Patsy + Jenny and her two brothers Kenny (Beetle) & Paul Haydon.
