Obituary of Thomas John Tulley

On September 13, 2022, Tom Tulley, son of Beth and John Tulley, passed away in his sleep at the age of 65. Tom was raised in Lafayette California where he found he had a love for singing with his church youth group, the outdoors, and a penchant for sports. He was an avid tennis player and skier. His left-handed tennis stroke was almost as smooth as his favorite player John McEnroe. After high school, Tom followed in the footsteps of his Dad and served in the United States Navy. But the outdoors and his love for skiing called, and after the Navy he moved to a place he loved, North Lake Tahoe. He never left. Tom followed his passion of skiing, working at Alpine Meadows for many years and skied the beautiful Tahoe slopes his entire life. After working at Alpine he went into maintenance where he painted and helped homeowners and businesses maintain their properties through the harsh weather of Tahoe. He had a keen eye for photography and loved taking pictures of the Tahoe landscape, wildlife and flowers. Tom had a palette for fine food, and worked in local Tahoe restaurants. He loved to cook for friends and family, sauces were his specialty. Tom was a kind and gentle person. He never had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone. He was easy to talk to. A history buff, he always liked a good conversation of past, current and future events. He loved his family, and he loved his friends, Tahoe Blue and the beaches of Trinidad, CA. He is survived by his mom, Beth and his sister Janet Eldridge (Jim) and loving family and friends.
