Obituary of Ashton "Blake" Nero

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 1:00 PM for Ashton Blake Nero, age 46, who passed away on January 23, 2023 in Sacramento, California.

Blake will be laid to rest in the Roseville Cemetery, with his Beloved son, Micah Dale Nero. Blake’s good friend Benny Lopez, from San Diego, California, will officiate the services held at Old St. Mary’s Historical Church in Rocklin, California.

Left behind to cherish Blake’s memory, his daughter Alana Rose Nero; his son, Noah Blake Nero; his granddaughter, Olivia Rose Nero; and his parents, Glenn and Rose Roussell; his one grandmother Dorothy Roussell all from Louisiana. Also many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins residing in Louisiana.

Before coming to California, Blake was raised and went to school in Lafayette, Louisiana. A true Southern gentleman, Blake came to California and found a trade in automobile sales. He worked over twenty years at several different dealerships in Northern California and was excellent at his trade. He never met a stranger and everyone was his friend by the end of the sale.

Blake was also a perfectionist at residential painting and did a lot of residential work in and around California. He was best known for keeping a clean and tight line when it came to painting. Blake was a fanatic about keeping his appearance, his car, and his yard clean and sharp at all times.

When he wasn’t working he loved hanging out with his kids, playing video games, and spending quality time with friends and family. One of his favorite things to do was drive around California with his windows down listening to music and living his best life.

Blakes parents would like to say, a special thank you to Blake’s ex-wife Lindsay Galang Baca and her family for helping the Roussell family with the arrangements for Blake.
