Obituary of Theresa Marie Rafter

It is with great sadness the family of Theresa Marie Rafter announces her passing on December 13, 2018 in Lincoln, CA at the age of 77. She was born July 6, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Anthony R. Candela & Margaret M. Barone and moved to California in 1964. Theresa completed her Associates Arts Degree at Glendale Community College and had a long, successful career at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Theresa will be forever remembered as a loving mother to Jean (John) Thompson, Jim (Pavlina) Rafter and Martin Rafter; dear grandmother to Tori and Carly Thompson and Kayla and Chloe Rafter; and devoted sister to Barbara Gerwing and the late Jean Ropp. To honor Theresa’s wishes, there will be no funeral but a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
