Obituary of Barbara W. Frandsen

In Loving Memory of Barbara W. Frandsen February 6, 1933 to November 25, 2020 Barbara’s beautiful smile and her outgoing personality could light up a room. Barbara was an accomplished violinist at age 16 in high school. This led to her nomination as a newcomer to Coeur d' Alene Idaho Elk's candidate for Miss Idaho. When Barbara played it would bring tears to your eyes, it was that beautiful. Barbara went on to perform in the San Jose Symphony Orchestra at the Center for Performing Arts. Barbara dedicated her life to helping others. She was an integral part of the Lucile Packard Hospital Auxiliary for 20 Years helping to raise money for the Children Hospital at Sanford Rummage sale at the Stanford Campus. Barbara loved her career as a travel agent, she and her late Husband Douglas Frandsen enjoyed many trips to Hawaii, Tahiti, Cook Islands, Caribbean, Mexico Europe and more. Barbara loved to cook leaving her Son and Daughter lots of tasty family recipes. She left a mountain of memories to a devoted group of friends in including Son and Daughter-in-law Larry and Debbie Frandsen. Her Daughter and Grandson Janet and Russell Douglas Leifsen, with whom she created a loving home for 15 years, Roseville CA. At 87, Barbara was ageless, and her time with family and friends will provide fond and loving memories for years to come. In lieu of flowers, the family request that you donate to a charity of your choice or her choice Children Hospital at Stanford.
