Obituary of Mickey John Hugg

MICKEY JOHN HUGG, age 46, entered into Eternal Rest in Sacramento, CA on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Mickey was Born on March 29, 1973 in Pontiac Michigan, the second of three children born to Linda Scherer and Eugene Hugg. He lived in Michigan, Ohio, and Southern California before his family finally settled in Sacramento. He grew up doing construction with his grandfather Leon Doyon and continued in various aspects of his vocation through the time of his passing. He enjoyed frisbee golf, camping, and fishing. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He had a kind heart and quick wit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mick loved his family, cherished his children, and adored about every dog he ever met. He is survived by his two loving sons, Michael Hugg and Jacob Hugg, his adoring mother, Linda Scherer, his caring father George Lugo, his devoted sisters Medina Blaylock and LaDawna Hugg, his nephews Logan Blaylock and Nicholas Tovsen, his niece Audrey Turner, his doting aunt Julie Miller, his cousins Rutger Miller and Jessica Miller and his extended loving family from the Hugg, Miller, Kervin, and Lugo families. He was predeceased by a brother Eugene Hugg, Jr. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Old St. Mary’s Chapel of Rocklin located at 5251 Front Street, Rocklin, CA 95677.
