Obituary of Charlene Faye Manselle

Charlene Manselle, age sixty-six, quietly passed from this earth on Friday, August second, in her beloved town of Grass Valley, CA. She leaves behind her big brother Mick, younger sister Connie, and nephews Michael, and Matthew Manselle, and James Neville. Charlene attended Hennessey Elementary in Grass Valley, CA, in her childhood; Santa Maria High School in Santa Maria, CA, and Westmont High School, San Jose, CA Charlene was married to John Lynch for 20 years, and she traded the laid-back beach bum lifestyle of California for the desert life-style of Reno, NV. Longing for the rivers of Gold Country in her later life, and for a more simple way of living, Charlene returned to her past in Grass Valley, where she found a community and many meaningful friendships. Her many friends remember Charlene as a funny, smart, lovable "character," and that, she certainly was. Her family will miss Char's undying loyalty, kindness, and generosity, and it is their great hope that they will see her again. The Manselle Family
