Obituary of Rebecca Sue Rodriguez

It is with sad hearts to announce that Becky, Rebecca S. Rodriguez, has passed away on April 19th, 2023.

Becky is survived by her husband Epifanio Rodriguez, her son Tony Churchwell and grandkids Tre Ackerson, Ti'sean Churchwell, Tony Churchwell, Tishaya Churchwell, Trell Churchwell, Teezah Churchwell, Maleeyah Churchwell, Machaeylah Churchwell. Her parents Greg and Judy (Hunter). Her sisters Lisa and Cindy (Robinson), Kerri Chrysty, her brother Tim Hunter and all of her cousins, aunts and uncles. Becky is preceded by her sister Tracy Robinson and her father William E. Robinson.  

Becky was born on December 4th, 1963 in Florida where she was raised with her siblings and then moved to California with her family. For the main part of her life she worked as a cashier at different retail stores. That is where she met her husband of 23 years Epi. They met each other in Concord California where they worked and got married in Reno. They moved out to the Sacramento area where they resided.

Becky was diagnosed with COPD in early 2019. After her diagnoses of COPD, in early 2022 she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. After battling with chemo and radiation a year and half later, the good lord decided to take her from her pain and called upon her. She passed away in her home surrounded by her husband and family and friends. It is there, where she was truly loved and surely going to be missed.
