Obituary of Cherie Claypool-Lintinger

Cherie Claypool-Lintinger, age 55, of Fair Oaks, California, passed away on July 6, 2023, in Roseville, CA. Cherie was an intelligent, athletic, and loyal individual, always fearless in the face of challenges. She attended Del Campo High School, graduating in 1985. Cherie loved keeping in touch with members of her graduating class.

Additionally, Cherie proudly served in the US Army from 1986 to 1997 and was a member of the Army Rangers. During her service, she earned the Expert Field Medical Badge. Cherie was stationed in South Korea, Germany, and Ft. Hood,Texas.where she displayed her dedication and commitment to her country.

After her military service, Cherie dedicated over 16 years of her career to the Gold River Racket Club / Spare Time Sports Club. She cherished her job and considered her colleagues and members as her second family. Cherie had a love for being around her friends. She cherished time in nature whether it was at the river, water skiing, or tending to her rose garden and viewing the visiting hummingbirds. In the winter months, she could often be found on the slopes or exploring the Tahoe Valley. Ultimately wherever an adventure was Cherie could be found.

A Celebration of Life for Cherie Claypool-Lintinger will be held on August 12, 2023, from 1 pm to 4 pm. The event will be a casual open house, reflecting Cherie's style. Attendees are invited to grab a plate of food, relax, share a memory, and enjoy the day, just as Cherie would
have wanted.

Cherie Claypool-Lintinger will be deeply missed by her Family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. In honor of Cherie's passion for animals, donations can be made to the Front Street Shelter. Contributions will support the welfare and well-being of animals, a cause close to Cherie's heart.
